A lady bug and other unrelated news...

I was outside playing with Lily, when I noticed the tree outside my apartment had a lot of lady bugs on it. I haven't seen lady bugs in a long time. There where all different, some with big spots, some without spots, some red, some orange and one even very light orange, like an albino ladybug. Anyway, it's moments like this I wish I had a macro lens. Here's a picture of my favorite lady bug that I spotted.

In other news, hubby left again this morning to Ohio for work again. He comes back this Thursday, I just hope he doesn't have to go back in a long time, I just hate falling asleep without him, I never realized how safe I feel when I do have him by my side at night.

I don't know what we are doing for the 4th yet, right now I don't feel like doing anything special. I like going downtown to see the fireworks but it gets so crowded, so who knows. Hubby's birthday is also coming up, 38 years old, yikes! He doesn't want anything for his birthday, but I'll probably surprise him with some little presents.

I gessoed over four old paintings, they're all small, I'm not sure what to do with them yet. I haven't even finished my owls painting for the living room, hee hee hee. I got 2 Sex and the City and 2 Friends dvd's at the library to entertain myself this week, although I have tons to read for my 2 classes as usual...I hate reading when it's not for fun! ugh...5 more weeks left...
