I think the way we eat cereal is a little bit different than everyone else. Here's what we put in ours: flax flakes, grape nuts (no grapes! no nuts!?), trail mix, pecans, coconut oil, and sometimes a little bit of honey, oh and of course, whole milk. Since coconut oil is solid, we melt it first, then pour it over the dry cereal, when we pour the milk over it, the coconut oil becomes solid again, giving the cereal an extra crunch. We also take about a teaspoon of cod liver oil (yuck!) and our multi vitamins before enjoying our hearty bowl of cereal. And that my friends, is how we eat our cereal around here.
